Stop motion animation short film: Fabricated

This short sci-fi film, Fabricated (2016) was ten years in the making and is entirely made with stop motion animation. The dedication, the patience and the talent of the makers is incredible. The meticulous attention to detail, the beautiful created world, the sound design, makes this simple short film an amazing one.

The story takes place in a post-human desolated place and follows a dinosaur-like creature made of steel and some organic materials. This little creatures  embarks on a small adventure in a dying world.

This aesthetic and visually pleasing work of art is 18 minutes of pure wonder, and while the narrative might be simple (compared to every other aspect of this masterpiece) it will make you reflect on life.

You can see this gem on vimeo or on youtube.
